A friend of mine recently found out that she is allergic to aloe. Since skincare is part of her everyday routine, I offered to help her find products that didn’t include it. After searching store after store and looking at product after product, I started to realize one thing. Almost every product contained aloe! Sure this great product does wonders for your skin, but having an allergy to it can do some real damage. After doing some research, I have found a facial cleanser, a mask, and a moisturizer, that do not contain aloe.
I have used many Kiehl’s products before and not once had something bad to say about them. This facial cleanser does not contain any aloe, and addresses stress, dryness, and blotchiness of the skin. The formula contains a botanical extracts that helps minimize and get rid of acne. This product also contains Mannose, a rare sugar that has a barrier feature to shield and promote skin recovery. This product goes for $40 at a Kiehl’s store and website.

This product is a hydrating face moisturizer that contains vitamin C, E and nourishing oils that leave your skin glowing. I personally own this product and it really helps me get through times where my skin is dry, red, and dull. This crème smells great and really does work. It’s not heavy and does not leave your skin sticky. It goes for $40 at Sephora or Ole Henriksen’s website. It also does not contain parabens, sulfates, and phthalates.

I currently use this charcoal mask, it is a great solution for dullness, large pores, and oiliness. After a long day of wearing makeup my skin tends to get very oily. Putting this mask on helps clear my skin of that oil and the look of large pores, leaving my skin refreshed and clean. The bamboo charcoal acts like a magnet and draws out the dirt clogging your pores, while the white china clay clears the skin of excess oil. This product goes for $27 at Origins and Sephora and does not have parabens, sulfates, and phthalates.
